No this isnt an emo rant--i just couldnt find a song lyric that discussed ghost so i had to stick with the MCR song haha.
the reason im hung up on ghosts? FREE FRICKIN GHOST TOUR TONIGHT!!!

but im pullin a tarentino and gettin way ahead of myself...

the past few days have been nice
the weather was getting cold..now it's antartica
we've been laying out each night in blankets watching the stars
me and jess are really good
We went to go see emarosa (2nd time for me) which is always amazing

If you dont listen to Emarosa or know who Jonny Craig is...find out- it'll change your life.
I mean..he's just so talented it's phenomenal--and he's a really cool guy to chill out with too
I brought ethan with me and it was classy

also halloween is gonna be awesome--24 hour halloween party, pumpkin carving, T.Ping, candy, bla bla bla amazing

School's doing good and the friend group is pretty good--hahaha everyone's coupling up hahaha maybe its a winter thing?

I'm in American Lit right now but soo bored

it's so beautiful outside and life seriously couldnt be better--it just reminds me how amazing God is, even though i'm a horrible christian hahaha idk know why he's so forgiving...im just glad he is.

So ive been in a cleaning mood so i basically scoured the dorm room and cleaned out my desk haaha

and it was good.

also im excited because its the big rib dinner/thing at jess' house which is gonna be amazing.

its 5:00 and im debating going to dinner to get something to tie me over or just waiting till 9 for the rib extravaganza

She's Now My New Sun...

So today was pretty good i suppose-- i slept alot and got alot of work done.

and i realize that i love Jess way more than i can possibly understand

Me and the crew just hung out in the rotunda doing homework and stuff.

not a very eventful day--but im on the hunt for a job and tomorrow im cracking down on my bible study and on working out.

i miss reading my Bible and just being there with God. I def. need it soon haha. But yes, today/wendsday will be amazing

im getting the oh,sleeper album and i def. am hangin with jess all night long. 

im happy.

and its pretty good to be blogging again.

now if only i had more to write about..

Concerts, Love, and Swift Kicks to the Face

So it's been nearly 24 hours since the massive Underoath concert extravaganza--and before you ask, yes, Underoath was amazing...but so was everyone else (with POS being the exception)

The show started out with a political pundit moonlighting as a rapper--this guy was a decent rapper but he was just in the wrong crowd--and we just couldnt get the guy to shut up about politics. We came for music not Election 2008.

Anyways..once his abnormally long set was done, The Devil Wears Prada was up

and they rocked so freakin hard it wasnt funny. I was 2nd row for the entire show and this band shredded it like noone's buisness. Simple. 

Then comes Saosin--please keep in mind im a little biased

Saosin was the first CD i ever bought so they hold a special place in my heart hahaha

so when i got to purchase a signed EP only available on tour with brand new songs, my night was made. The fact that Cove Reber and I were exchanging goofy faces the whole show def. helped. The only bad part--his mic was a little low. Their set was nice though because it was a needed break from the mayhem of TDWP and the mayhem of Underoath to come.

We waited for 30 minutes after Saosin (did i mention that Cove looks and acts like Jack Sparrow, ladies?) for Underoat to begin. When the did, my mind was blown. Their entry video and subsequent videos were amazing--very eerie and the def. kept with the end of the world theme of their new album. They rocked so hard it put everyone to shame--Spencer is an animal; he's finally come into his own and you can def. see the impact it has on the band. They played Too Bright To See, Too Loud To Hear, which is a personal favorite, along with som new and old material. Roy apprntly got trampled on, crowd surfers kicked my neck out of alignment and bashed my earrings out (so basically my ears bleed periodically now) and Spencer kicked me in the face. 

Yea...you could say the show was bad apples.

On another note, i def. miss jess--we've been away for what seems like a week and im glad i get to see her tommorrow--we're goin music shoppin + dinner+ ?

it'll be fun

Art and Improvised Speeches

So today was interesting
i totally slept till 12 which was awesome but i still have a lot of work to do

idk why im posting more than once in a day but alots happened in the interim between posts and i wont be posting tommorow b/c of underoath- so consider this my wendsday post

I went to speech class and turns out i had to present a 6 minute informative speech
which had to have three sources and i had no internet so i couldnt just research in class


soo...
i get my english book- find the topic discussd the most (gender sterotypes) wrote a quick messy outline
and gav my speech

i messed up a little so ....i think i got a 75 of a 8 hahahahaha
which was better than what i would have got which was a 0.

also ive been charcol drawing which is awesome see pic

im tired and i have too much homework

I need a new tank of gas ($57-60)

I need money for merch at Underoath tomorrow ($60-70)

And i need all the cash by tomorrow...

All of my fiscal matters considered im also in a bit of a crunch school wise

i have a research paper to write, 45 problems in math to do, history work sheets to catch up on, and i still need to make time for reading the Bible and velvet elvis

and my new workout regimen starts today haha

its gonna get freaky real fast im thinking

But other than all that I'm doin pretty good--I'm doin alright in my relationship with God, me and Jess are good (the anniversary was defintitly interesting though...) and...

idk i can't think of anything else good...does that mean everything's bad?

Anniversary

So today is the big three month anniversary for me and Jess--excitement all around :)

what's more, for said anniversary i got a set of charocoals and the book the shack

so now everyone i know is getting blogs which is pretty sweet i suppose but only two will probably follow up on them.

Is it a waste of time to consider...

Thrift Stores, Vinyl, and Politics

So today was church. but yea--it was interesting because Pastor was all talkin about amendment 2 (the marriage one) which is something i'm conflicted on due to my christian beliefs. If you don't know what im talking about amendment 2 concerns gay marriage--i think homesexuals are entitled to some sort of legally binding union while my fellow christians chant "NO GAY MARRIAGE" as if the vast majority of homosexuals wanted to be married in the house of God.

But thats besides the point--i really hate politics

Moving on...I went to a thrift store (my keyboard doesnt like typing the word thrift...) and found a awesome 50's jacket for like 2.00. woah.

and i got against me's "new wave" on bright yellow 150 g vinyl

Then me and the crew + jessica went on to some haunted house thing at the student center where we listened to megan scream for real and adam scream for kicks.

Alcohol

Today was pretty interesting--

amazingly i got a 90 on my midterm in american lit

and i actually went to my high school's homecoming game--

but it turns out all my friends are total jerks

they say hi to me and go off again somewhere else--

these are people i spent massive amounts of time with these people and they ditch me as soon as im out of the picture--which is classy 

then me and jess left and went to barnes and noble--the manager acted like a radio announcer when he was saying that it was closing time

then we went and talked and chilled

i later went to steak and shake but as we were leaving

this girl i know was rolled out in a streacher...

alchohol poisoning--the 7th time apparently

its sad...

watching someone's life unravel.

I have a western civ midterm and I swear it's gonna kill me.

Yea--so my odyssey into not having a life continues--tonight I'm going to homecoming at my school haha

It's really good--surprising seeing as i usually hate books like it

I crumbled...

I've joined a community of mediocre writers who share personal information on the internet with no regard for personal security. Ive joined an elite sect of people who write online journals to people who won't read it or even care. 

i'm a blogger. 

and i am ashamed.

So i'm writing this because i want a hobby that lets me sit on my butt and be lazy. Eating is already a hobby, so is videogame playing.
